I am a private music teacher in Yorkshire, specialising in flute & music theory tuition from beginner level to advanced.
As a special welcome to all potential pupils, I provide the FIRST FLUTE/THEORY LESSON FREE OF CHARGE!
A sort of "get to know you" session, where we can find out about each other and discuss what you would like to gain from your flute/theory lessons.

I pride myself on providing friendly (and patient!) private tuition for children and adults alike. Parents are also very welcome to "sit in" on their child's music lessons, if they prefer to do so.
My main aim during any lesson is to make learning to play the flute an enjoyable and fun experience. With a bit of imagination even learning to play scales can be fun! A Wealth of Flute Playing Experience
I have over 26 years flute-playing experience and have obtained the Licentiate of The Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) in flute performance. I have been a private flute & music theory teacher in Yorkshire for around 7 years now and have also worked as a supply peripatetic music teacher for Education Leeds (something which I hope to resume once my son is a bit older!). I am the principal flautist of Leeds Symphony Orchestra, West Riding Opera, Knaresborough Choral Society and Phoenix Concert Band. I also play with the Northern Wagner Orchestra and The Rehearsal Orchestra.
